BOOM! Cycle into the weekend

It’s finally Friday.
It’s been a long week.
And it’s time to let your hair down.
Training after work this evening is not an option.
Well...BoomCycle to the rescue!
Their 35-minute ride class proves to sceptics that the lunchtime session can be EXTRA effective. It leaves you feeling pumped and ready for the weekend.
It’s so good, in fact, it leaves you feeling pretty smug with yourself.

BoomCycle have four locations across London, in Monument, Battersea, Holborn and Hammersmith.
The instructor doubles up as a DJ, the studio is dimly lit and you ride to the rhythm of some of your favourite tunes.
BoomCycle themselves describe it as a ‘party on a bike’.
It’s an immersive experience. Instead of your typical spin class – where, let’s face it, you never turn up the resistance when the instructor tells you to – BoomCycle is motivating and energetic.
Don’t be fooled by the 35-minute ride. Expect to be pushed to your limit. And very, very sweaty.
There’s sprints, climbs and a lot of getting on and off the seat. A little bit of rhythm will help with this class and the more you’re willing to give, the better.
The bikes also come with hand-weights attached - just in case you’re worried that there’s no gains to be had, here.

BoomCycle's community board. R&B Divas Ride, anyone?
It isn’t just the class that proves a hit, either. For ladies, especially (sorry guys) the experience is a dream.
The changing rooms are decked out with Dyson hairdryers, hair straighteners and THE BEST LIGHTING EVER. The vanity section is fully kitted out, too. There is also a full jar of free hair bobbles in reception.
One of the best things about BoomCycle, ladies? You can easily get away with forgetting to shave your armpits.

The ladies changing room is a dreeeeeeeam. EXTRA helpful for post-BOOM.
In all honesty, I would much rather be in this kind of environment sipping on a G&T and dancing with my friends.
But, there’s no denying that I left the class feeling great, accomplished and ready for the weekend.
BoomCycle have four locations across London and a timetable absolutely choc-a-bloc with rides. But for those who love to fit in the final session of the week without it ruining social plans, the 35-minute lunchtime class is great.

Post-35minute BoomCycle. Feeling SWEATY but FABULOUS.
